Clase Azul Mezcal Guerrero is produced in the Mexican state of Guerrero. It is produced using Maguey Papalote (Agave cupreata). These agaves grow wild in the mountain range in the state of Guerrero. The flavors of this mezcal are influenced by the proximity to the sea and the green forests.
Clase Azul
Clase Azul is primarily a tequila company, but they also release mezcal. Their first mezcal release was made in the state of Durango where the extreme climate, the rich minerals of its soil, and the source of natural springs in the area, give particular force and complexity to its notes, making it a different mezcal than what is produced elsewhere Mexico. Their second release comes from the state of Guerrero. Both are packaged in tall and ornate ceramic bottles.
